Kala Ramesh Memorial Award 2023 to Master Veer Bhausaheb Kolekar of Mumbai
Mumbai। Today on the occasion of first birth anniversary post demise of Mrs Kala Ramesh from Chennai late member of National Committee Press Club of working Journalists, a small but dignified program was organized in Mumbai to give away the pre announced Kala Ramesh Memorial Award 2023. This is an initiative by renowned author, National Organization General Secretary of Press Club of Working Journalists Smt Shashi Dip who organized and executed the ceremony today under which the special honor has given away to Mr. Bhausaheb Ramdas Kolekar and Mrs. Daya Bhausaheb Kolekar, the parents of disabled child Veer Bhausaheb Kolekar, resident of Mumbai. It is noteworthy that Mrs. Kala was dedicated all through towards Children with Special Needs. So it is hoped that this gesture will be the best tribute to her.
If divine supports, this honor will be given every year on March 15, on her birth anniversary, in memory of Mrs. Kala Ramesh, who was a member of the National Executive Committee of Press Club of Working Journalists, an all-India organization committed to the safety and welfare of journalists. After the event Smt Shashi Dip informed, a momento, certificate and an amount of five thousand are included under this honor. The prize money was by courtesy of family her better half Mr. Ramesh Rajaraman and her children) of the departed soul. Founder President of PCWJ, Mr. Syed Khalid Qais appreciated Shashi Dip for this noble initiative and described it as unique example of discharging duty while being alert and aware of human sensitivity.
