Hamaraa Mission Dignity” Initiates Nationwide Blanket & Woolen Drive to Aid the Underprivileged and Homeless.

New Delhi.Hamaraa Mission Dignity (HMD), a leading humanitarian NGO, successfully concluded its “Nationwide Woolen & Blanket Drive” on January 14, 2026. The initiative, which commenced on November 28, 2025, aimed to provide warmth, protection, and dignity to vulnerable communities across India during the peak winter months.

As part of the campaign, over 5,000 blankets were distributed nationwide to the homeless and needy individuals living on the streets. In addition to blankets, the drive also collected and distributed woolen clothes, socks, gloves, caps, and scarves, ensuring comprehensive winter protection.

The campaign was spearheaded by Adv. Neena Goel, President Awardee and Founder of Hamaraa Mission Dignity, who has been working extensively for slum dwellers and underprivileged communities. The initiative was strongly supported by HMD Brand Ambassador and Bollywood actor Arbaaz Ali Khan, whose involvement further amplified the campaign’s reach and impact.

The drive was designed not only to provide physical warmth but also to preserve the dignity of individuals surviving in extreme cold conditions. Pitampura, Delhi, served as the central collection and drop-off point for donations, coordinating efforts across multiple states.

Founder Neena Goel stated that Hamaraa Mission Dignity continues to ignite nationwide warmth through its annual blanket campaigns. As winter intensifies across India each year, HMD launches its extensive Nationwide Blanket and Woolen Drive to ensure that no one is left vulnerable to the harsh cold. She emphasized that the 2026 campaign stood as a true example of a “United Front Across India.”

The 2026 drive witnessed remarkable leadership and volunteer participation across regions:

In Mumbai, Bollywood actor and HMD Brand Ambassador Arbaaz Ali Khan and Dr. Rajshree Kadke of JJ Hospital, personally led blanket and shawl distributions to protect the destitute from the seasonal cold.

In Surat, Ashvin Borad, a key supporter of HMD’s digital and social initiatives, spearheaded the distribution of essential winter wear to underprivileged communities.

Rajiv Goel coordinated the campaign’s expansion in Punjab, while Yugal Singla of Haryana managed distribution logistics across both rural and urban areas.

The campaign’s success was further strengthened by the tireless efforts of Lubna and Javed, who spent weeks on the ground identifying beneficiaries and organizing local distribution drives. Paras Goel (Delhi President ), along with volunteers, interns from Amity University, and dedicated team members, conducted night distributions to reach individuals sleeping on streets and in shelters, especially in severely cold-affected regions.

Expressing gratitude, Neena Goel thanked everyone—from individuals to corporate supporters—for their unwavering support. She stated that acts of kindness and generosity truly transform lives, fuel the organization’s mission, and enable lasting change.

She extended special appreciation to all major donors, supporters, and contributors who helped accomplish the mission, especially Actor Arbaaz Ali Khan, Mrs. Radhika Mittar, Mr. Mukul, and Mr. Vishal Kalra, whose generosity formed the foundation of hope for countless individuals.
