Divine Service Charitable Trust Celebrated Literacy Day in an Exemplary Way!
Kolkata. International Literacy Day, celebrated on 8th September has been established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). It serves as a reminder of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights.
Divine Service Charitable Trust conducted their September Activity to celebrate this global day in Kolkata at Mother Nest, Manicktala. More than 150 slum children were given basic educational stationary materials necessary for their regular academics. Divine Service also conducted a small meditation for children above the age of 10yrs old in association with Lightworkers Pranic Healing Kasba Centre.
International Literacy Day Activity by Divine Service was an effort to shine a spotlight on the significance of literacy for children from all strata of our society. It’s Divine Service’s endeavor for a better tomorrow.
